Product Licensing

Bing Maps Server and Bing Maps Desktop are available through Microsoft Volume Licensing on a software subscription basis (monthly fee). Bing Maps Server is available in the Server/Client Access License (CAL) licensing model under two editions:

• Bing Maps Server – The Bing Maps Server CAL should be acquired to access the Bing Maps Server
  
• Bing Maps Server with Enhanced Content Pack – the Bing Maps Server with Enhanced Content Pack CAL should be acquired to access the Bing Maps Server with Enhanced Content Pack
  

Bing Maps Desktop is available in the Desktop Applications licensing model in one edition: Bing Maps Desktop with Enhanced Content Pack.

Hardware can be customer-furnished or purchased through Vexcel, an authorized Dell reseller.

Geospatial content is user-specified and licensed at no additional charge. There are several Services components consisting of: System Build, Installation, Training, Technical Support, and System Refresh. System Build is required, all other services are optional.
