Vexcel’s Sensor Systems division designs and develops custom innovative sensor solutions, combining state-of-the art radio frequency (RF) and digital signal processing (DSP) technologies and algorithms to satisfy demanding performance requirements. This capability leverages Vexcel’s extensive synthetic aperture radar (SAR) data processing and exploitation expertise.

Design and application flexibility is maximized through Vexcel’s extensive suite of in-house design, simulation and test tools enabling:

• Vector signal generation, network and spectrum analysis to 20 GHz
  
• Digital and mixed signal oscilloscopes (DSO/MSO) up to 1 GHz instantaneous bandwidth
  
• Synthesis of complex waveforms with up to 500 MHz instantaneous bandwidth
• Synthesis of complex waveforms with up to 500 MHz instantaneous bandwidth
  
• RF/microwave circuit design, performance evaluation and schematic capture
  
• VHDL code generation, FPGA logic implementation and verification
  
• DSP algorithm design, firmware implementation and performance evaluation
  
• Generation of complex 3-D integrated system solids models using in-house CAD software
