Vexcel's Scheduler provides an easy-to-use tool to task satellite downlink times. The intelligent reception Scheduler can task multiple downlink antennas and optimizes antenna usage based on antenna station mask, satellite, and user priorities.
The reception scheduler allows tasking of individual antennas, redundant mode (more than one antenna), and automatic mode (selected optimal antenna based on antenna mask). Schedules hand-over between two antennas if necessary. The Scheduler predicts the best schedule given the desired time slots and available antennae. The Scheduler takes into account type, priority, and antenna.
Time slots can be created via the Time Slot dialog or imported into the Scheduler via the Swath Planner and edited via the Time Slot dialog if needed. Once the user confirms the daily schedule the time slots are exported in COP and await capture.
